What we stock
Coats and jackets are the biggest part of the range, and that is not an accident. The weather here changes its mind by lunchtime, so the layer on top does most of the work. Trench coats, wool coats, puffers for the genuinely cold weeks, and enough blazers to get through an office winter.
Underneath that sits the knitwear. Fine jumpers for under a coat, chunkier cardigans for the days you can leave the coat at home. Cardigans get more wear than jumpers here, for the simple reason that you can take one off without finding a mirror.
The rest of the range fills in around those two. Dresses that have a clear occasion behind them. Trousers you can sit in for a full working day, and boots with enough grip for a wet pavement.
How we choose things
One question does most of the sorting: would we wear this on an ordinary Wednesday? Plenty of clothes photograph beautifully and fail that test. Those we leave alone.
Sizing is UK throughout. Whatever measurements we have are on the product page, and they are worth thirty seconds of your time. A size letter on its own tells you almost nothing, and a returned parcel is a bad day for both of us.
